Our story

Aunty Jane is a collective of passionate, dedicated registered health professionals driven by the common goal to “Make Abortion Better.” We understand that having an abortion is so much more than a physical event, and we are here to support you on your unique journey of choice.

Aunty Jane was born out of frustration, frustration with the mainstream and private healthcare sectors and how women’s healthcare and issues are dismissed, minimised, and silenced. Not to mention politicised!

We all have that one Aunty who is unashamed, outspoken, and fiercely protective. She is always a 3 a.m. phone call away and always shows up when it matters most. She welcomes you with open arms.

Aunty Jane knows that if we are supported through our challenges, we then have the capacity to show up for others.
